Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter is an American producer and actress who has been recognized by her outstanding performance in movies such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. Holly Hunter has won numerous awards and awards, among them an Oscar for her role in the film Piano. She started her career as an actor on Broadway and Off Broadway. Since her childhood she's been passionate about the art of acting. She was Helen Keller as a fifth-grade student in the school's play. The actress was deaf in one ear after suffering from mumps but did not permit this to deter her determination to become an actor. At college, she was a theatre student and then moved to New York City in pursuit of her goals. Hunter was able to make her Broadway debut when she had a chance meeting with Beth Henley, a playwright. Together, they wrote in Broadway Crimes of the Heart. After moving from Los Angeles she tried to be a film actor and eventually landed an acting role as a support for the role of a supporting character in Swing Shift. She has since appeared in several shows and TV films over a career spanning over three decades. Holly Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and she also received her the Women in Film Lucy Award.
